The supplier file
auditors actually accept.
ToneAudit turns scattered, manual supplier checks into a repeatable, source-attributed evidence pack.
Compliance and procurement teams are asked a hard question by auditors, customers, banks, insurers and customs authorities: prove what you checked. Today the answer lives in spreadsheets, PDFs, email attachments and shared drives — impossible to defend and painful to refresh.
The hard part was never only finding risk. It is proving what was checked, when it was checked, what was found, and — just as importantly — what could not be verified.
ToneAudit was built to answer that question by default. It resolves a supplier's legal identity, screens it across official and public sources, and preserves every check as evidence: the exact source, a content hash, and an access timestamp. The result is a file you can hand to an auditor as-is.
What we believe
Evidence, not opinion
We don't assign a subjective score. Every finding links to the source that supports it, so your team — and your auditors — can check the work.
Unknown is better than wrong
When a source can't be checked, we report it as UNVERIFIED rather than implying a clean result. Reporting what you couldn't verify is part of the value.
A repeatable process
The same checks, the same attribution, every time — so a supplier file can be refreshed and defended months later, not rebuilt from scratch.
What ToneAudit is not
- — Not an ESG rating agency. We report source-backed findings, not subjective ratings.
- — Not a substitute for professional judgement, legal advice, or in-person audits of high-risk suppliers.
- — Not a black box. Every finding is attributed to a source you can inspect.
